Book Reviews: Demon Calumnius and Fire & Ice

Can't believe I haven't been posting my Book Reviews on here for ages: So, I'm starting backwards and putting up some more recent ones, plus some older ones, of my opinion on a few books I've read. By the way, if I cannot read a book, because I don't like it, I don't review. Only read books I'm going to enjoy.

That is the strangest twist in a book I have ever read. Hmm, how shall I explain without giving spoilers? I was merrily reading away, and the book must have captured my attention as I read it all, and wouldn't do that if it hadn't.

The story focused on the development of what I thought was a love story, with a demon in the background playing mischief. Then Wham! Once the wham happened, it was as if a different author was writing the tale because it was suddenly rushed and disjointed.

Worth reading just to find out what the Wham is.

I found myself looking forward to my reading sessions whilst reading this tale. It is a tale of adventure but it is also a tale of woe. I've been debating between 3 and 4 stars as it is a good plot that the author weaves and it is written well.

However, it is one of those stories whereby nothing happy ever happens. Everyone's lives seem full of woe and misery, which is fine if it's told as well as this, but you need something to smile about to get through a book. There are some very minor editing issues, but they do not distract from the telling of the tale. All in all I enjoyed this story, it just made me feel a bit sad for all the characters.

I'm going to tell you about one of my favourite series's next: LOOK out for my reviews on The fantastic Rys series by Tracy Falbe
